Peaceful Artillery

Released in 1994. This album is produced by the legendary Jack Clement ( the former SUN studio engineer who recorded Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash and later some tunes of U2 for the Rattle & Hum album) and his son Niles. They recorded the band in Holland in a 4-day live session in their own rehearsal room.

This album again combines serious song writing (Jack calls Ad v.Meurs the Dutch answer to John Prine) with the original pulsating sound of saxophone, slide guitar, energetic grooves and the dark voice of Ad(the beast) going along with the lovely voice of background singer Ankie (the beauty).

"If you are interested in buying any of our CD's, send me an email on which CD's you'd like to have and where you live and I'll let you know the easiest and cheapest way we can arrange it" - Ad van Meurs
